Sweet and Tender Hooligan fue el último single que sacó la banda británica The Smiths. Salió el 23 de mayo del 95 para promocionar el compilado Singles. La letra describe la sentencia de un hooligan, con Morrisey viendo todo sarcasticamente desde el punto de vista del criminal: "and he'll never ever do it again, of course he won't, not until the next time".
